2 Major announcements from MSFT re Biztalk and the connectors.

Microsoft CRM Connectors for GP, AX & NAV - The Microsoft CRM Connector for Microsoft Dynamics GP is scheduled for RTM (Release to Manufacturing) on 31st March, and will incur no additional charge. In addition, we also announced that the Microsoft CRM Connectors for Microsoft Dynamics AX and NAV will ship Q1 CY 2007.

Microsoft CRM BizTalk Connectors - In Q3 CY 2006 we will ship a Microsoft CRM adapter for Microsoft BizTalk Server, enabling connectivity to many 3rd party applications. A value-add Connector Template for Siebel will also be shipped.

Hmmmmm..... Something is missing from the list of CRM connectors.  Lets see.......  Dynamics SL.  What?  Microsoft does it again, or better yet does not do it again.  This new connector strategy is well planned and has been hinted at by Wilson for the past few months.  So why would they leave out Dynamics SL (Solomon)?  It is my belief and that of my team that MSFT believes that Infuse is very strong, and fits the needs of this important customer base.  

We had David Dennis, and David Thatcher stop by at the booth while we were at Convergence.  From their comments I think that Microsoft is not going to develop a competitive application to Infuse.  They are happy with the solution that we have put together. 

As far as Infuse Vs.  Biztalk we will have further posts that show what the differences are between our solutions.  And why Biztalk and the connector strategy is not a good direction for the mid market.
