Customer Question of the Week---The Infuse Service Was Not On Yesterday... and Questions from the Field...

Question:   The Infuse service was not on yesterday, however, the update of Solomon Customer to CRM and the Sales Order from Solomon to CRM was working.  Are these updates using the Infuse service?  Can we have a list of items that are using the Infuse Service?

Answer:   Information going into Solomon from CRM only goes in using the Infuse Service.  We do not update information in Solomon at the SQL level, only at Using the Solomon Object Model. So we need a service to do that.

Item that use the Infuse Service:

  1. Customer information From Solomon to CRM
    1. Customer
    2. SO Addresses
  2. Sales Order from Solomon to CRM
  3. Sales Orders that have the Submit Button pushed go into Solomon.

Question:  As far as I know, there are 3 ways to turn on/off the integration: Pause the service in the Scribe Console, Stop the Scribe Service, and Stop the Infuse Service.  I know how to do the first two, can you let me know how to stop the Infuse service?

Open up the Service Control Panel | EHTC Infuse Service | Right click on "Pause"

Question: Is the integration on?  (All integration – Customer, Ship to, Invoice, Sales Order, Products…)

1) Service is not paused

2) These DTS are active

Yes, the integration is on.
