Where Have All The Flowers Gone?
Periodically I see that bloggers go underground for no apparent reason. They go into a hibernation. This is usually because of changes in work or because of vacation, or other job-related issues.
Mine has been all three.
End of school year: I have 3 kids in school and we are very busy with things that happen related to their lives. Plays, musicals, field days, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Church. Wow, it's busy.
Setting up an new website for our Scout Troop. We will be launching it this summer. Go Daddy rocks! I host this site for about 5 bucks a month. Community Server is neat stuff. http://www.troop292.org/community
Job Issue #1 Changes at work - I have been involved in some larger CRM deployments where I have had to go solo on many of the details. EHTC has had some changes and one of my CRM guys, Matt Deyoung, has just moved to a remote office in Connecticut. So I have had to take on more of the technical CRM responsibilities. He is focusing his time on Infuse deployment support.
Job Issues #2 - We are in the Dynamics CRM Titan program so we can't really say anything about what is going on in the development yet. I can just say it is cool stuff and we are looking forward to working in a hosted environment. We think in the end it will make our lives much easier. Although it is obvious that Scribe will have to make changes to their application, as publishing orders is basically a call-out function and it is yet to be seen how exactly that is going to work in a hosted world. However, we are confident that that detail will be figured out.
Vacation —— I wish...
