Garter analyst is quoted as saying that Microsoft will have slight success. Additionally they observe that SF.Com will out perform CRM because they "have a direct sales force" and Microsoft is dependent on the partners. Hmmmm... If you spoke to anyone who has been on the receiving end of the SF.com efforts you might say otherwise. They have a reputation for strong manipulative selling, many prospects are turned off by their strong-arm tactics.
