Having installed Scribe about 300 times, one thing I still forget to do is the registration part properly.  You have to install everything before you register. This includes the adapters for the CRM apps.  Now they do point this out in the install guides.

After installing Scribe Insight, be sure to install your application adapters before registering the product. 

Scribe Insight 6.2 comes with, and is designed to use, the Scribe Adapter for ACT! 2007-2008. Insight 6.2 does not include, and will not work with, the Adapter for ACT! 2005-2006. If you want to use the Adapter for ACT! 2005-2006 you must download and install Scribe Insight 6.1 (click the Legacy version link at the bottom of this page)."

Important. Older versions of the Scribe adapters do not work with this newest version of Scribe Insight. If you have older adapters, you must upgrade to the newest versions of all your adapters.
